Only one of the 4 (5) animations is goblin. All the others are different creatures

On just about every level I´d like to praise this game- just wow. Where do I start. Each level requires a unique approach that plays so innovatively with the already pretty interesting core mechanics.

There could do with a little bit better explanation about how each level fundamentally differs from each other, but once that hump has been gotten over it feels like you get to really dissect and optimize with the ability to see just how much more progress you're making hitting at about the 10th try in each level, and only increasing from there. I started to get a feel for when I was strong enough to know that *next* time I'm winning for sure, and it was very exciting.

As for the NSFW animations? Pixel art does something for me, and each and every one of these ones is animated so smoothly, with lots of emotion put onto the character's faces. It makes for a fantastic payoff to the already extremely satisfying gameplay loop. The balance updates were perfect, just bringing down that tries number enough so it doesn't feel quite as daunting to start a whole new level.

I enjoyed Sorceress End (author's previous game), and it feels like they took everything I did enjoy about it and polished and refined it into an even more stylish and intriguing game. This game absolutely deserves its pricetag!

Okay that should be the end of my gushing. Hope everyone who reads this has a good day!! <3

What games are those first two gifs from?

Hello! I'm enjoying the game immensely. I love the retro style and gameplay elements. It's legitimately engaging to play this and I wanted to improve at it. I think eventually I might get good enough to beat the first level, but in the process, I can't help but feel like the difficulty is just a little bit overtuned. Not unplayably, but just a bit frustrating in a way that builds up and eventually reaches a point where it outweighs the fun factor. My impression is overall very positive, there's just a couple areas I think could use a bit of tuning to really help the game flow :)

Frustration #1: The lives system, while a staple of old-school retro games, was retired for a good reason in my opinion. And I felt a lot of my frustration I experienced was tied to the lives, but I could be wrong.

Possible Fix: That said, I'd be on the side of keeping  them in this game, but maybe sprinkling in extra lives items around the place. Frequently I would lose at least 1, sometimes 2 lives before even reaching the first checkpoint, and once that happens it feels like the checkpoint may as well not even be there since it doesn't refresh my lives and I won't get many chances to use it. Maybe each time the player unlocks a checkpoint, they get an extra life added too?

Frustration #2: 3 health states until a death works visually, but it's also a little punishing.

Possible fix: Perhaps a health bar would be better? If that's not ideal, then sprinkling a couple more health packs around the levels could go a long way.

Bug maybe?: I noticed on keyboard when aiming upwards and shooting after walking a short distance, sometimes the aim would be locked in a diagonal direction for a few seconds, even when using the single fire gun. Dunno if this is intended or not.

Happy Holidays!!! Enjoying the new update. I'm excited for story additions whenever they're ready! I'm a big fan of the idea y'all had to make the lewd animations a voluntary player choice. Having the option to engage or not with the lewd content will undoubtedly help players who want to tailor their experience. Additionally, the voluntary nature of it will reinforce the idea that Kincaid is enjoying the sex as much as the player watching it is haha. Absolute bonus if it also lightens your workload in the future! Whatever you end up deciding on, I love the game and I'm excited to see where it goes.
